After leading a nonprofit organization through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic as Executive Director, she transitioned into freelance grant writing to create a more flexible lifestyle while continuing to support mission-driven organizations. Through her work, Karen helps nonprofits secure funding while advancing causes she is passionate about, including environmental conservation, education, health, and community programs.
